What is National EA?

Founded 150 years ago, the Evangelical Alliance links together churches and Christians of many denominations who wish to express their unity in the faith.

EA has established many means of serving churches and communities, including:

• UK Action - supporting Christian social action projects across the land
• Tear Fund - helping needy people throughout the world
• Evangelical Missionary Alliance - co-ordination the work of over 200 missionary societies and colleges
• Arts Centre Group - strengthening Christian witness among professional artists of all kinds
• Acute - (Alliance Commission on Unity and Truth) a theological task group bringing together specialist knowledge on contemporary issues

In recent years the Evangelical Alliance has campaigned in many issues of social concern and serviced joint endeavours on education, sexuality and drugs, so that those with common objectives are now sharing resources and working together.
